The Associate of Science in Business is designed for students wishing to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program in business. A transfer agreement exists between East Arkansas Community College and certain four-year institutions across the state to assist students in transferring to those institutions. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.25 is required. The majority of occupational courses and all general education courses in this degree are considered transferable toward a baccalaureate degree.

EACC's Associate of Science in Business prepares students for entry-level employment in a business environment, or transfer to a four-year college or university. Students that complete a four-year degree in business are able to gain employment in a number of business focuses industry sectors, including for-profit administration. Some examples of regional occupations within this sector are:

  • Administrative Service Managers
  • Industrial Production Managers
  • Transportation Managers
  • Storage and Distribution Managers
