• ATTENTION!! BLACKBOARD EMAIL FEATURES (Friday, August 25, 2023)
  

  Good morning, students!! You've made it through Week 1!!

  But here's something important that you need to know:

  The Email feature in Blackboard is not currently operational. This means that you cannot send an email message through Blackboard to your instructor or other students, and in turn no one can email you either! This is a work in progress and we are working closely with our IT department and Blackboard to repair this issue.

  That being said, if you need to contact your instructor via email, you need to use your EACC Office 365 Email account. The links for access can be found on the Students page of our website HERE or on the MyEACC portal.

  Here's how you login:

  Email Login:

  Your Username will be your last name and the last 4 digits of your Student ID (Example: doe1234)

  Your Initial Password is EaccMMDDYY where “MM” is your birth month, “DD” is your birth date, and “YY” is the year of your birth. (Example: Eacc081198)

  Example: Suzie Doe is a new student, logging in to EACC Email for the first time. Her Student ID 
  number is 1234567. Her birthday is August 11th, 1998. She logs in like this:

  Password: Eacc081198

  If you have problems with your myEACC or Email login, contact Bob Fowler: bfowler@eacc.edu

  Or feel free to visit with our IT staff in the ComputerEducation Center (CEC).

  Please note your Email login is different from your Blackboard Login!!

  EACC is happy to announce that students who are taking 3 or more hours during the 7 Week Early Summer or Summer I terms may be eligible for up to $500 of additional student aid!  Additional eligibility requirements do apply.  Eligible students can access the Student Grant Application survey through myeacc beginning TODAY! Login to your myeacc portal to see if you are eligible! The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, June 18th at 11:59 p.m.  Please reach out if you have any questions.  If you have already completed the application please disregard this message.  Thank you. 

• EMAIL THROUGH BLACKBOARD (Friday, June 2, 2023)
  

  Good Friday morning, Students!

  Lately some instructors who have been trying to email students through Blackboard have been receiving error messages, indicating that some messages are undeliverable. We believe this may be happening because students' email boxes are full and cannot receive messages.

  With that in mind, we're encouraging all students to log in to their EACC email accounts and "tidy up" - to delete any old messages to clear out some space for new ones. This will allow messages from instructors to go through. They always have things they'd like to tell you about!

  As you do this, email your instructors and let them know how the first week of summer classes is going. They would love to hear from you! 

  Be advised also that ALL electronic correspondence with the college will come through your EACC email account only. This is a free service we provide for you so please take advantage!
