Chris Thomason, Vice President for Strategic and Community College Partnerships for the University of Arkansas System, will lead the search for the UA System President's Office and will coordinate the Advisory Search Committee's assistance with the search. Committee members represent the campus community, alumni, and regional education, business and community leaders from the campus's service areas.

Other constituents will be able to provide input throughout the process.

The committee will make recommendations to UA System President Jay B. Silveria. President Silveria will then recommend a candidate to the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas for final approval.
