Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment

This program is designed for students in grades 9-12. Students apply for admission to EACC and once admitted, have the opportunity to take full advantage of this unique opportunity to learn. EACC is excited about offering high school students this opportunity. Concurrent enrollment is the enrollment of a high school student in post-secondary education for high school credit and college-level credit (1000 and 2000 level courses). EACC will provide qualified instructors at your school or the school district may provide appropriately credentialed instructors according to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) standards.

Students wishing to take concurrent classes will want to complete all three of the following applications:

Circle N Market Concurrent Enrollment Grant: The Circle N Market Grant Program has been funded by Mallory Nimocks, a 1977 graduate of Forrest City High School, and Carla Morehead Nimocks, a 1979 graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School, Michigan. A prior scholarship program was in effect through the Nimocks Oil Company, also providing scholarships to concurrently enrolled students. The program provides funding directly to area high schools where Circle N Markets are located in eastern Arkansas- St. Francis, Cross, Poinsett and Monroe counties. The grant assists students in high school who wish to earn college credit from EACC prior to graduation. The grant is used to offset the cost of textbooks. For more information about the Circle N Market High School Concurrent Enrollment Grant, call 870-633-4480 ext. 352.
