EACC Presents Mooseltoe Holiday Feature for Kids

EACC will present the Mooseltoe Holiday Feature on Sunday, December 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. This enchanting holiday musical will bring magic to children this holiday season!  Children are invited to attend a PJ Party with cookies and milk at 2:15 p.m. before the show in the Fine Arts Center’s Banquet Hall. Purchase Tickets HERE.

MOOSELTOE, the Moose with a Dream, and his friends come to life in this colorful, magical and whimsical musical tale.  Follow our hero as he pursues his seemingly impossible dream while learning many valuable lessons along the way, lessons which are important to us all.

This sparkling production has 16 unforgettable costumed characters which include three snobby penguins, and Edward G. Robinsonesque snowman, and a fat walrus named Willy, not to mention two elves and old Santa Claus himself! Eight original, delightful and melodic songs accompany this hour-long odyssey of self-discovery, and children and adults alike will embrace and cheer for our lovable hero, MOOSELTOE.

The book and lyrics were created by George Semmelman and the recorded score was created by George Kramer. Al Roker narrates the story while celebrities from Broadway, TV, and movies provide the voices of MOOSELTOE and his friends in the charming production.  Presented by Mainstage of St. Louis, Missouri, the delightful set designed by New York designer, Kelly Tithe, will evoke the enchanting and magical world that MOOSELTOE and his friends inhabit.  Costume designer Randy Carafagno, responsible for building and maintaining much of the wardrobe for the Broadway hit The Lion King, has designed the amazing and intricate costumes for the production.

Children are encouraged to wear their ‘PJ’s’ to the production! Tickets for the Mooseltoe Holiday Feature are $14.50 and may be purchased online, by calling 870-633-4480, ext. 352, or in person at the Fine Arts Center Ticket Office. Group discounts are available and save 20%. The EACC Fine Arts Center is located at 1700 Newcastle Road in Forrest City, right off of I-40, forty miles from Memphis.  Stay connected to the EACC Fine Arts Center on Facebook (EACCFineArtsCenter).
