EACC Offers Tour to Casey Jones Home and Railroad Museum

EACC's Department of Continuing Education will offer a tour to Casey Jones Home and Railroad Museum in Jackson, Tennessee on Friday, October 20th.

Travelers will tour the original home of the world’s most famous railroad engineer, Casey Jones.  The best whistle-stop between Memphis and Nashville, the tour of Casey Jones Village will feature the original home Casey Jones and the 8,000 square foot train museum dedicated to his life, legend, and railroad men and women everywhere.  Conveniently located on Interstate 40 between the musical meccas of Memphis and Nashville, Casey Jones Village is a family destination that includes the historic home and railroad museum, Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store Restaurant, 1890s Ice Cream Parlor and Fudge Shoppe, Southern Gift and Confectionery Shoppe, the Wellwood Store, the Shoppe of Casey Jones Village, Casey Jones Mini Golf, the Judge Milton Brown Pullman Railroad car, the Village Chapel, and the brand new farm.
