Community Ed Summer Schedule of Classes

The Community Education and Workforce Development programs at East Arkansas Community College have announced the Summer Schedule of classes for students of all ages.

The schedule offers a wide variety of unique Kids on Campus programs and camps including: Children's Theater Camp, Pickleball Mania, Junior Golf, Basketball Camp, Youth Horseback Riding, Gymnastics, Paw Patrol Adventures, Crochet Cute and Cuddly Friends, Environmental Art, Mysterious Magic and Super Slimy Science, Code Breakers, Junior Chef, Pete's Groovy Summer, and more!

Students in grades 3rd - 5th will learn to design, build, program, and test your own custom robot.  Kids will challenge their skills as they learn how to build or modify their robots to complete a variety of tasks in the Robotics class. 

Kids entering Kindergarten - 2nd grades should leave with new skills like milking cows and picking vegetables in the Let's Go Farming class.  Students will learn the history of farming, how the food gets from the field to the table, and how to take care of all the animals that live on a farm.

Preschool boys and girls ages 3 and 4 will learn about all about pirates, how to read a treasure map, and they will make their own treasure chest in the Pirate Treasure class. Children in grades K-2nd will learn ways to make their own jewelry and hair accessories as they design their own necklaces, bracelets, rings, and other fun accessories in the Bling in On class. 

The Personal Interests and Senior Sage (students aged 50+) classes for adults include Yoga, Water Aerobics, Conditioning, Applied Piano, and more. 

The schedule for Professional Development classes includes Healthcare Provider CPR intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a variety of settings.

Tuition waivers are available for credit classes for students aged 50+ and discounts are available for children who register for 3 or more classes.
