EACC Announces Summer Schedule for Community Education and Workforce Development

The Community Education and Workforce Development programs at East Arkansas Community College have announced the Summer Schedule of classes for students of all ages. 

The schedule offers a wide variety of unique Kids on Campus programs and camps including: Children's Theater Camp, Pickleball, Junior Golf, Football Camp, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Youth Horseback Riding, Gymnastics, Loom Knitting, Mermadia, Circus Fun, Zoo Club, The Sweet Shop, Holiday Extravaganza, 3, 2, 1 Blast Off, Clay Works for Kids, Fairy Garden Party, Slammin' Jammin' Music Lessons, and more!

Students in grades K - 2nd will discover the science behind luminescence and fluorescence and make some eye catching projects and learn about fireflies in the Glow in the Dark Science class.  Kids entering grades 3rd - 5th should be ready for anything as they complete different, fun, hands-on sizzling summer science experiments each day in Experiment Extravaganza

Preschool boys and girls ages 3 and 4 will grab a spoon and paintbrush as they learn all about the wonderful and wacky world of food art in Yummy Art.  Children will explore ways to take normal food items and create exciting art projects as they spend a week of fun playing with their food. 

The Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs summer manufacturing camp for ages 14-16 will introduce students to the fascinating, high-tech career choices available to them in today's advanced manufacturing industry.  The camp will allow students to make something with their own hands, sparking their imagination and encouraging them to consider a career in manufacturing. 

The Personal Interests and Senior Sage (students aged 50+) classes for adults include Yoga, Zumba, Conditioning, Applied Piano, AR Concealed Carry, and more. 

The schedule for Professional Development classes includes: Healthcare Provider CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
