EACC Presents Murder on the Orient Express

EACC's Drama classes will present the spring production of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express on Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th in the EACC Fine Arts Center.  The curtain will rise for two separate showings on Saturday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m.

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer - in case he or she decides to strike again.

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express premiered at the McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, NJ on March 14, 2017. Directed by Emily Mann, the production featured Alan Corduner, Veanne Cox, Julie Halston and Max von Essen.

The production will feature Sam Harris as Hercule Poirot, Bryant Phillips as Head Waiter, Eddie Trim as Monsieur Bouc, Lawson Thomas as Mary Debenham, Tamesia McMillon as Miss MacQueen, Kyron Ferrell as Michel the Conductor, Dorothy Jackson as Princess Dragomiroff, Destiny Staggs as Greta Ohlsson, Robin Pulliam as Countess Adrenyi, Cassey Renfrow as Helen Hubbard, Fedeall Cottingham, Jr. as Colonel Arbuthnot, and David Freligh as Samuel Ratchett.

The public is cordially invited, admission is $5 and will be available at the door; EACC students are admitted free with a valid student ID. The EACC Fine Arts Center is located at 1700 Newcastle Road in Forrest City.
