2021-22 Season Announcement

EACC announces the upcoming 2021-22 Performance Season's schedule of events to be held in the EACC Fine Arts Center.  Season ticket packages for the 2021-22 Season will go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 16th. 

Season package subscribers will be contacted and receive renewal information.  Season renewals will continue through Wednesday, August 11th.  Season ticket packages will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16th.  Packages will be available online at EACC.edu or by calling 870-633-4480 ext. 352. Season subscription options save up to 20%. 


The Commodores

Legends and icons for over 50 years! With 75 million albums sold worldwide and 7 #1 singles, The Commodores are one of the greatest Motown and R&B/Funk artists of all time.  The Grammy® award-winning and Vocal Group Hall of Fame inductees have scored 7 #1 singles, 5 #1 albums, 20 Top 10 Singles, and 15 Top 10 Albums with some of their greatest hits including "Brick House," "Three Times a Lady," "Easy," "Still," "Stay On," "Just to be Close to You," "Night Shift," and more.   The Commodores' Walter "Clyde" Orange, James Dean "JD" Nicholas, and William "WAK" King have influenced artists young, old, and in all genres with their classic songs. The Commodores' brand is bigger than ever as they continue to blaze trails all over the world. Crystal Gayle

GRAMMY® winning country music singer and Grand Ole Opry member Crystal Gayle is an award-winning music icon whose reign in the music business includes 20 #1 country hits, six gold certified albums, and the first female artist in country music history to reach platinum sales with her album, We Must Believe in Magic.  She became a Grammy® Award Winner for "Best Female Vocal Performance" for her hit "Don't it Make My Brown Eyes Blue." She was awarded CMA's "Female Vocalist of the Year" and ACM's "Top Female Vocalist" numerous times, and she was the recipient of three American Music Awards including "Favorite Female Artist." Crystal was awarded with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was recognized with a Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award for her lifetime achievements in country music.  Crystal's multi-format hits also include "Just You and I," "You've Been Talking In Your Sleep," "When I Dream," "Half the Way," her duet with Eddy Rabbit, "Just You and I," and more.  Also famous for her nearly floor-length hair, she followed in the footsteps of her older sister and country music legend Loretta Lynn.

 

Little Texas

Saturday, January 22, 2022-7:30 pm Since their first single release in 1991, Little Texas has been bringing their classic rock influenced brand of country to the world.  Known for hit songs like "Some Guys Have All the Love," "God Blessed Texas," "You and Forever and Me," "What Might Have Been," "My Love," "Kick a Little," "First Time for Everything," "Amy's Back in Austin," and several more, they have sold over 7 million albums.  Little Texas has been recognized with 3 GRAMMY® nominations and received award honors from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.  The group also receive a CMT award, a Billboard Music award, and other radio and records awards.  As part of the young country movement of the early '90s, Little Texas was responsible for shaking up the country music world with a new, energetic sound that fused the look and attitude of modern rock music with traditional country themes and styles, bringing a much appreciated bolt of life into the genre.

 

CeCe Winans

Saturday, February 19, 2022-7:30 pm The best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time, CeCe Winans has long since cemented her status as one of the most accomplished and celebrated women in modern music history. Recording and performing as both a solo artist and as a duo with her brother BeBe, CeCe has influenced a generation of gospel and secular vocalists over the course of her astonishing career. She's been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Nashville Music City Walk of Fame, in addition to being named a Trailblazer of Soul by BMI and garnering multiple NAACP Image Awards, Soul Train Awards, Essence Awards, and more. She's sold in excess of 5 million albums in the US, topping the Gospel charts repeatedly while crossing over with smashes like "Count On Me," her stunning duet with Whitney Houston from the multi-platinum Waiting To Exhale soundtrack, which sold 2 million copies and cracked the Top 10 on the Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary charts.

 

Atlanta Rhythm Section & Pure Prairie League - 50 Years Together

Atlanta Rhythm Section

For more than 50 years, members of Atlanta Rhythm Section have entertained audiences all over the world with their hits.   With multiple gold and platinum albums to their credit, the band's top hits include "So Into You,"  "Imaginary Lover," "Champagne Jam,"  "Doraville," "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight," "Do It Or Die," "Spooky," and more.  Along with contemporaries Lynyrd Skynyrd, they carry the mantle of "Southern Rock," but by performing more musically diverse hits with a softer, pop flavor, they have a sound all their own.  

 

Pure Prairie League

Best known for their iconic #1 hit "Amie," Top 10 hits "Two Lane Highway," "Let Me Love You Tonight," "I'll Fix Your Flat Tire Merle," and "Early Mornin' Riser," along with their classic Norman Rockwell inspired cowboy album covers, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE bridged the gap between Country and Rock.  From their beginnings in the mid-Sixties Ohio as a group of friends playing cover tunes to the present-day featuring founding member/pedal-steel innovator John David Call, veteran bassist Mike Reilly, propulsive drummer Scott Thompson and guitar ace Donnie Clark, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE continues to embellish the rich 50+ year history of one of Country-Rock's pioneering forces. Now in their fifth decade, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE continues to lead the way for the new generation.

Single tickets to all Spotlight Series events are $44.  Single tickets for The Commodores and Air Supply performances will go on sale Monday, August 23rd at 10:00 a.m.  Tickets for other performances generally go on sale six weeks prior to the event.
