EACC 's New Student Orientation Required for First-time Incoming Students

First-time incoming students at East Arkansas Community College are required to attend one of this year's New Student Orientation sessions.  Students will have the option of attending a New Student Orientation session virtually or in-person, following campus safety guidelines.  Sessions will be held in-person on August 10 at 9:00 a.m. and August 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the EACC Fine Arts Center on campus in Forrest City.

Topics covered in New Student Orientation will include campus safety and fall class plans, the registration process, advising and testing, financial aid and scholarships, degree and certificate programs, career planning, the admissions process, Student Support Services, EACC Catalog and Student Handbook, library services, information about purchasing books, technology, student activities, and general campus life.  Students will be introduced to EACC personnel, resources, programs, and services.

Students should REGISTER for Orientation online and complete the online form.  Once students have registered and selected their session preference, they will receive a confirmation email.  Advising and registration services for students will be available following Orientation sessions.
