We are THRILLED to announce that EACC's official mascot is the EACC Delta Dragons!

The Board of Trustees voted to approve EACC's official campus mascot.  Following input provided through student feedback at orientation, meetings with groups and classes on campus, an online student questionnaire, and faculty and staff input at the annual August convocation meeting, we were able to determine the clear choice for EACC's mascot.  Thanks to everyone for providing input, ideas, suggestions, and feedback!

The Delta Dragons received such exciting feedback from students and employees, and some have already suggested themed menu options such as "dragon wings" and "fire fries" to incorporate in the new café.  Students' eyes lit up, their mouths dropped open, and they said, "I love it" when the Delta Dragons was proposed during a student meeting.  Comments from students also included, "It's original. There are no other mascots like a dragon." They also said the Delta Dragons was a "slicker" mascot than other suggestions. They mentioned wanting apparel and to see the mascot on doors, on banners, and even a statue.

We look forward to incorporating the many creative uses of the Delta Dragons on campus, and mascot merchandise is now available in the Bookstore located in EACC's new Welcome Center.
