East Arkansas Community College-Forrest City

A group of 11th and 12th grade students from Cross County High School recently visited the East Arkansas Community College campus in Forrest City and attended presentations by a number of the EACC faculty and staff.

Dr. Jeff Watson, EACC Vice President for Academic Affairs, spoke to the juniors and seniors about the wide variety of academic and technical programs available at EACC. EACC Ambassadors, Jessica parks and Josie Patterson, provided the group with a tour of campus including the new EACC Technology Center.

The students learned about financial aid that is available and were given information about the upcoming College Goal Sunday event to be held at EACC Sunday, March 2nd in Classroom Building 1 at 2:00 p.m. The event is free and is designed to assist students in filling out their federal financial aid forms.  All students are invited to attend no matter what college they choose.
