Description of Scholarships
- Full Drama Scholarships
Two drama scholarships per semester may be awarded for EACC Degree seeking students. Students must be full-time students (enrolled in 12 credit hours). Each scholarship includes in-county or out-of-county tuition, applied instruction fees, and incidental fees. Students are responsible for purchasing textbooks. Continuation of these scholarships will require a 2.50 cumulative GPA or higher and approval of the scholarship committee. The scholarship may be renewed three semesters. Drama recipients must participate in theatre productions.

Scholarship Application and Award Procedure
- Completion of drama scholarship application.
- Audition with a member of the drama faculty.
- Selection by scholarship committee with recommendation from Department Chair of Humanities and drama faculty.
- Name, social security number, and award amount for each selectee will be forwarded to the Director of Financial Aid.
- Continuing students - Drama Faculty will forward name, social security number, and award amount for each student prior to the first day of classes to the Director of Financial Aid.
- Scholarship Selection Criteria
- Performance: Drama applicant must perform a five minute monologue or perform a cold reading selected by the committee.
- Drama Experience: high school or post-secondary performing experience in a group setting.
