Loan Periods

Books – Two weeks.
Audio Tapes – Three days.
Video Tapes – Must be used in the LRC.
Magazines - Must be used in the LRC.
Reserve Materials - Must be used in the LRC.
Reference Materials - Must be used in the LRC.
Periodicals - Must be used in the LRC.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If patrons need a book or a magazine article not located in the LRC, they may complete an inter-library loan request (ILS) located at the front desk, and the items will be ordered from another library. Books usually take about two weeks and magazine/newspaper articles take about one week to arrive. There is no charge to patrons for this service. Click here to see the ILL Request Form.

Photocopiers

The library has two student copiers. Copies are fifteen cents per page.
There is one faculty copier in the library’s faculty/staff workroom.

Audiovisual Coping Services
(Non-copyright course-related material only)

Video tapes -- Bring your own tape(s) and allow 7-10 days for duplication.
Audio cassettes -- Bring your own tape(s) and allow 2-4 days for duplication.

Periodicals

The library houses local and regional newspapers for in-house usage. The library also has a variety of journals and magazines in print for in-house usage.

Item Recommendation

If you would like to recommend an item to be considered for adding to our collection, please fill out a recommendation form and submit it to Daniel Page at the library.

Student ID’s

Student ID’s are made in the library. To have an ID made, see a library staff member.

Media Center

Microfilm readers and printers - fifteen cents per copy.
Computers with internet access.

Multi-Media Room

This is a computer lab reserved primarily for students in multimedia classes. is designed for instruction in the areas of presentation development, video editing, and analog to digital video conversion. Video editing equipment, flat bed scanners, printers, still camera and cassette recorders and many of the newest software applications are available in this room.

Viewing Rooms

The library has two study rooms that also have access to TV/VCRs.

ARKLink Cards

EACC faculty, staff, and students can get an ARKLink card at the EACC Library that will allow them to borrow items from various Arkansas universities and colleges. When visiting a participating library, patrons may need a photo ID in addition to their ARKLink card. For a ARKLink card, come to the reference desk at the library.
