Goals

  • To emphasize the learning process and provide academic assistance to all EACC students.

  • To serve as an academic/learning resource center for students, faculty, staff, administration, and surrounding communities. 

  • To emphasize the skills and attitudes students need to develop in order to achieve academic success. 

  • To provide the learning resources necessary to allow every student the opportunity to maximize their learning and academic potential. 

  • To encourage every student to be an independent learner. 

  • To assess each individual's learning style and develop prescribed learning strategies to enable students to maximize their learning capabilities.

  • To be a resource for student retention 


East Arkansas Community College's Learning Center strives to organize and implement learning experiences that will serve the needs of adult learners, be in harmony with their educational needs, be relevant to their life experiences, take into account their unique characteristics, and promote self-esteem.


The Rules!

  • Students must sign in upon entering and sign out when leaving the Learning Center. 

  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the Learning Center

  • Internet access is available for research purposes only. Please ask a Learning Center instructor or tutor for assistance.
