Technical Certificate

This program provides students with no previous experience with the knowledge and skills required for employment as an environmental/ health and safety technician. It also provides currently employed technicians with an opportunity to update and broaden their knowledge of the E/H&S field and enhance their opportunities for career advancement. Emphasis is on a programmatic understanding of environmental and safety regulations, sampling and analysis procedures and safety protocols and requirements. HAZWOPER training required under 29 CFR 1910.120 is also included.
