Degrees

The Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.) is offered for students who plan to transfer to a senior institution after completing the first two years of a baccalaureate degree program. This degree can be structured to satisfy the freshman and sophomore requirements of most baccalaureate degree programs.

The Associate of Science Degree (A.S.) is a science-based transfer degree with enough latitude in coursework to allow students to major in a variety of fields and to have their entire AS degree transfer into a senior institution. In cooperation with the University of Arkansas system, EACC currently offers an A.S. degree in:

  • Agriculture, Food, and Life Sciences. The degree's flexibility allows students to concentrate in one of the following areas:

    • Agri Education, Communication, and Technology
    • Animal Science
    • Crop Management
    • Environmental Soil & Water Science

The Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) is a technical degree designed to prepare the student to enter directly into a specific occupational area. EACC currently offers the following A.A.S degrees.

Cooperative Associate of Applied Science Degree: East Arkansas Community College and Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute have reached an agreement on the following cooperative A.A.S. degrees.

Technical Certificates

The Technical Certificate is available for students who wish to prepare for employment in a specific area without satisfying the general education requirements of the A.A.S. degree programs. EACC currently offers the following technical certificates.
