Eacc has various facilities ideally suited for workforce training and development. Regular classrooms, specialized classrooms, lecture hall, and a computer center are all available for training. Specific rooms include:

The Large Conference Room (B-129), located in the Learning Resource Center, is designed for training, meetings, and workshops. This room, which accomodates approximately sixty people, is equipped with comfortable chairs, flat top tables, a ceiling mounted projector, and large screen suitable for PowerPoint presentations. In addition, there is a dual satellite system including a stationary KU Band (Digital) and a dual Analog/Digital (C/KU Band System) which is capable of receiving most any signal available for training. There are also three dry erase boards located around the room which are suitable for breakout group activities.

The Small Meeting Room (B-126), also in the Learning Resource Center, seats fifteen people. The room has comfortable chairs, a large table, and a dry erase board. It may also be used as a breakout room from the large conference room.

The Multi Media Room (L-112), in the Library area of the Learning Resource Center, is designed for instruction in the areas of presentation development, video editing, and analog to digital video conversion. Video editing equipment, flat bed scanners, printers, still camera and cassette recorders and many of the newest software applications are available in this room.

Technology and Preparation Room (B-128). This room provides state of the art technology for Distance Learning. It seats up to twenty-five people. The room is equipped with compressed video equipment, microphones, camcorders, notebook computers, a scan converter, and Elmo. Internet access is also available. Computer training along with computer assisted learning can be provided in this facility. Compressed video classes can be conducted with other sites around the world that are similarly equipped, allowing companies to receive training, and conduct conference meetings with individuals in other geographic locations.

East Arkansas Community College can provide other facilities and equipment for instruction in subjects from safety and healthcare to computers and drafting. Our goal is to respond to your specific training needs.
