East Arkansas Community College is accepting applications for a Purchasing Specialist position.
Job responsibilities: Purchase supplies, materials, services and equipment for the College, update and maintain vendor files, perform accounting duties, and assist with bid preparation. The successful applicant should demonstrate the following: the ability to interpret and apply governmental regulations regarding bids, purchasing, travel and retail sales plus exceptional organizational skills.
Qualifications: Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma plus four years of experience in purchasing, sales or inventory control are required. An associate degree is preferred.
