Paramedic Faculty

East Arkansas Community College is accepting applications for a faculty member in the Paramedic Program (two positions available).  This position will report to the Paramedic Program Director and will be responsible for but no limited to: teaching, supervising, evaluating, and advising students in the classroom and clinical areas; assisting in the development and revision of: tests, clinical evaluation tools, and the course syllabi based on National Curriculum. 

Minimum educational and experience requirements:  A technical certificate in Paramedic from an accredited institution of higher education, and a current licensure as a paramedic in Arkansas plus two years of field experience in the delivery of pre-hospital emergency care, and be qualified by the state to teach in a Paramedic Program.   An Associate degree in paramedic studies is preferred.    

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. 

The expected date of employment is January 2012.
