Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Director/Faculty. The Program Director reports to the Associate Vice President for Applied Sciences.
Responsibilities are: organize and administer the occupational therapy assistant program; seek and maintain accreditation, develop and revise course descriptions, test, and evaluation tools; instruct, counsel students and promote the program.
Educational/experience requirements: A Master’s degree, certification in occupational therapy and licensed in the State of Arkansas, plus a minimum of five (5) years experience in the field of occupation therapy, including practice as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant, administrative or supervisory experience, have an understanding of and experience with occupational therapy assistants, and at least one (1) year of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
