Director of Enrollment Management and Institutional Research
East Arkansas Community College is seeking applicants for a Director of Enrollment Management and Institutional Research. The director will report to the Vice President for Student Affairs. This position is responsible for coordinating all student record systems to maximize efficiency; providing services to students, faculty and staff; the processes of inquiry, admission, regular and on-line registration, student grades, academic records, transfer credit evaluation, student recruitment, enrollment comparisons; catalog and degree audit updates producing class schedules, adhering to state and federal regulations including standard record-keeping procedures and FERPA; responsible for submitting required state reports to ADHE and enrollment reports to National Student Clearinghouse; other duties include institutional research, maintaining the security and integrity of academic records; providing enrollment comparison and projection reports each term.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree is required; preferably in Education , Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields. Other qualifications includeknowledge and experience in the design and implementation of computerized student information systems (Poise preferred); management experience (3 years preferred) and the ability to conceptualize complex administrative processes including data base management; demonstrated skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Other skills required include critical thinking, organization and planning, interpersonal skills, customer service and excellent oral and written communication.
