EACC Special Term Classes Offered at Cross County High School

East Arkansas Community College will offer two special term courses at Cross County High School.

Mobile Technologies and Introduction to Computers will be offered on Monday evenings, February 17th – April 7th at Cross County High School. 

Mobile Technologies offered from 5:00 – 6:50 pm will provide an introduction to mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones and useful online resources such as Google apps, programs, and drive sharing.  Students will obtain basic levels of digital literacy skills and establish a shared understanding for the technical language of the mobile device field.  The course will also provide students with a better understanding of how to use these devices, what they can do, and learn various tips and tricks to make sure they know how to take advantage of these electronic marvels. 

Introduction to Computers offered from 7:00 – 8:50 pm will introduce students to the personal computer. Students will gain an understanding of computer terminology, operating systems, applications, and basic personal-use software.

EACC offers tuition discounts for students aged 50+.  Ages 50-59 qualify for half tuition and students aged 60+ qualify for free tuition.  For more information or to register for these special term classes, call 870-238-6534.  Pre-registration is required.
