EACC’s African American History Month Campus Events

Forrest City- February is National African-American History month. The observance originated in 1926 and is designated for the promotion of cultural understanding in America. East Arkansas Community College has a wide array of events scheduled on campus. This year’s theme is “Civil Rights in America.” 

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. All events with the exception of the African-American Heritage Tour and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble performance are free to the public.

Feb. 21 (Fri.)            African American Heritage Tour to Henning, TN
