The Nimocks Oil Company Scholarship established at East Arkansas Community College has provided the College with financial support to enable a number of Wynne High School students to attend a credit class through EACC’s Concurrent Enrollment program. The class, general psychology, is being taught at Wynne High School.
Established through the EACC Foundation, the Nimocks Oil Company is dedicated to furthering the educational endeavors of those students in the EACC service area who attend area high schools. The NOC Scholarship is designed to offer high school students an opportunity to earn credit towards their high school graduation while earning college credit as well.
Concurrent enrollment is defined as the enrollment of a qualified high school student in post secondary education for high school credit and college-level credit.
Applications and additional information about the scholarship is available in the EACC Financial Aid Department in the Hodges Student Services Complex or the EACC Development Office located in the EACC Fine Arts Center or at 870-633-4480 ext 352.
