The East Arkansas Community College Spotlight Series presents Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show – Valentine Dinner Theater on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The presentation will be held in the EACC Fine Arts Center Banquet Hall and Auditorium. Patrons will have the opportunity to attend a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the ‘Rat Pack’ following the show in the Main Lobby.
This very special evening includes a three-course candlelight meal followed by a journey back to the days of highballs, hi-jinks and happy hour with “Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and Dean Martin.” Celebrating 50+ years of Las Vegas style, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing Frank, Dean, Joey, and Sammy themselves.
Produced by Sandy Hackett - son of the late, great comedian and actor Buddy Hackett - and Lisa Dawn Miller - daughter of legendary songwriter Ron Miller, the show features classic songs such as For Once in My Life, My Way, Mack the Knife, plus original, songs written by the late Miller. Buddy Hackett himself is the voice of God, thanks to a voiceover recorded before his passing in 2003.
They were style with substance, swing with swagger and a nonstop party that everyone wanted access to. Now audiences can experience this critically acclaimed, hugely entertaining theatrical production which includes exciting new arrangements of the classic songs everyone knows and loves.
With a stellar cast, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show features performances by Sandy Hackett (Joey Bishop), a powerhouse veteran writer, producer and film & TV actor; his wife, singer / songwriter / producer Lisa Dawn Miller (Frank’s One Love); David DeCosta (Frank Sinatra); Alfredo Miller (Sammy Davis, Jr.); and Tony Basile (Dean Martin).
