Forrest City-East Arkansas Community College held its annual Constitution Day program on Monday, September 17th in the EACC Lecture Hall. The activity was sponsored by the EACC Student Activities Department.
The Constitution Day program commemorated the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.
A number of speakers participated in the program. Catherine Coleman, Vice President for Student Affairs, provided the welcome to attendees, Desiree Watson, SGA Secretary, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Michelle Wilson, Director of Educational Guidance Services, was the featured speaker. Jerome McDaniel, EACC Student Government President, read the Preamble to the Constitution.
A voter registration booth was set up on campus and students were encouraged to register to vote.
