East Arkansas Community College has announced Paige Laws of Forrest City as the Director of Library Sciences. Laws was formerly associated with the Forrest City School District as both an educator and as a Librarian.

Laws holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Arkansas State University and a Masters of Library Science from the University of Central Arkansas. She is a Life Member of the Forrest City Junior Auxiliary and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She also served on EACC’s Continuing Education Advisory Board.

“As a long-time local educator, I look forward to serving the students of this area at a higher level of education,” said Laws. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of the staff at East Arkansas Community College, an institution that serves our community on so many levels and in so many positive ways.”
