The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Department at EACC has announced its Fall Schedule of classes for students of all ages and stages of lif

The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Department at East Arkansas Community College has announced its Fall Schedule of classes for students of all ages and stages of life.

The schedule offers a wide variety of Kids on Campus classes including Gymnastics I, II and II (ages 3 – 12+), Tumbling Tots (3 year olds) and Tumbleweeds (4 year olds) Art for Youth I and II (grades K-6), Pre-K Picassos for children aged 3 and 4, ACT Prep Academy for high school juniors, seniors and grads who need to raise their test scores, Spotlight for Kids acting class (grades 1-8), and more.

The Senior Sage (students 50+) and Personal Interest classes for adults include Computer File Management, Art Explorations, Pottery, Microsoft for Beginners, an Antique Appraisal Clinic, Arkansas Concealed Carry Course (Arkansas residents aged 21),  Safe Driving, College Singers, Aerobics, and a Master Gardeners Lecture Series sponsored by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service and the St. Francis County Master Gardeners.

The Continuing Education schedule for General Professional Development classes include:  EMT Basic Refresher course, Insurance Continuing Education, Healthcare Provider CPR, Leadership Skills and Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Continuing Legal Education, and a Pigweed Symposium by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Office.

EACC Tours offers the chance to experience Dreamgirls! direct from Harlem’s world famous Apollo Theater in New York City. Enjoy this sensational new stage production of Dreamgirls! when it comes to the Orpheum in Memphis on December 4th. Enjoy an early brunch at the Majestic Grill before the show!

EACC has partnered with the Viking Cooking School to offer private groups the opportunity to enjoy an exciting day of cooking and fun at the Viking Cooking Class. If you love to cook, entertain, or just appreciate the pleasure of great food, the Viking Cooking School is the place to indulge your passions.

Ed2Go online classes offer a wide range of highly interactive courses that students can take entirely over the Internet. All of our courses include expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. Featured classes include courses in Teaching and Education, Graphic and Multi-Media Design, Test Prep, Digital Photography and more.
