February is National African-American History Month. The observance originated in 1926 and is designated for the promotion of cultural understanding in America. East Arkansas Community College has a wide array of events scheduled on campus. This year’s theme is The History of Black Economic Empowerment.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend. All events with the exception of the Rockin Soul Tour are offered free of charge.
